A three channel push behind the EP: Instagram seeding across a custom page list, a clipping campaign, and Tier 1 Spotify playlisting on stilldelusional. This is where all three stand today.

Three lanes, $4,500

The EP landed August 7. Seeding and playlisting are both live and reporting. Clipping is booked and running, and its tracker has not been handed over yet, so this report carries no clipping numbers rather than estimated ones.

Five pages live, and four of the seven cost nothing

The paid list placed the EP on DJ Lovers Club and AllTime EDM. On top of that we secured free posts from four bass pages: Dubstep FBI, Digital Vibrations, Dubstep's Finest and Festi Freak. Five of those seven posts are already up. Every number below was pulled directly from Instagram today.

The posts

Ordered by measured views, with the static carousel last because its figure is modelled rather than measured. Tap any card to open the post. Four of the five pages hide their like counts, so likes are shown only where Instagram actually publishes them.

Views per 1,000 followers

The smallest page on the list is beating every big one

Dubstep FBI has 77,200 followers, roughly a fifth of AllTime EDM and a twentieth of DJ Lovers Club. It has produced more views than the other three reels combined. Audience size is not predicting delivery here: fit is.

Views per 1,000 followers Total views

Read this with the dates in mind: the posts are between zero and three days old. Dubstep FBI has had three days, AllTime EDM went up this morning. Reels front load their views, so the ranking will move, but the per follower gap is far too wide to be explained by two days of age.

Worth acting on

The four free posts have delivered 20,316 of the 23,567 views booked so far. For the next VRG release the recommendation is straightforward: pay the pages that actually convert for this sound rather than the pages with the largest follower counts, and put Dubstep FBI at the top of that list.

How the DJ Lovers Club figure is calculated

That placement is a five slide static carousel, and Instagram publishes no view or play count for static posts. The page also hides its like and comment counts, so the usual route of working back from engagements is closed. The 22,659 figure on its card is therefore modelled, not measured: it applies this campaign's own median reel performance of 1.33 views per 100 followers to the page's 1.7M following. It is kept out of every headline number on this page, including the 23,567 above. Treat it as an order of magnitude, not a reading.

03 · Spotify playlisting

10,101 streams on four lists

Tier 1 playlisting is running on stilldelusional, the EP's lead single. Four lists are live across 439,547 followers. The three placement partners have committed 30,000 streams of the 45,000 goal so far, so further placement is still to be booked to cover the remainder.

Streams by list

One list is carrying this lane. Dubstep Bangers 2026 has produced 7,225 of the 10,101 streams since it added the track on July 23. The two lists added on June 25 have contributed 1,807 between them across seven weeks, which is the honest read on why the goal needs more placement rather than more time.

Attribution note

Why one list is reported at 1,069 and not 10,491

DUBSTEP BRUTAL DROPS carries four VRG songs. Spotify for Artists reports 10,491 streams for the playlist as a whole, but three of those four songs are earlier catalogue adds that this campaign did not place. Only stilldelusional belongs to this campaign, so only its 1,069 streams are counted here. The other 9,422 are excluded from every figure on this page.

Worth knowing on its own: the catalogue is quietly earning on that list without anyone paying for it, and a separate listener playlist has driven a further 9,013 streams to VRG songs since 2023. Neither is claimed as campaign delivery.

04 · Clipping

Booked and running, not yet reported

The clipping lane is the largest single line in the program at $2,000, bought at a $2.00 CPM for a 1,000,000 view goal across 150 to 250+ videos. The tracker and the post level stats are still to be delivered, so there is nothing credible to publish yet. This section will fill in as soon as they land.

What lands here next

When the tracker arrives this section will carry total views against the 1,000,000 goal, the delivered clip count, the effective CPM against the $2.00 bought, and the individual accounts driving the volume. On past campaigns the top handful of clippers account for the large majority of views, which is the detail worth having before the next brief.

05 · The read

Where this actually stands

The EP is seven days old and two of three lanes are already producing. Seeding has 23,567 verified views on the board from four reels, none of which is more than three days old, with two more posts still to come. Playlisting has 10,101 streams. Clipping, the biggest line, has not reported yet.

The seeding lane is over delivering on scope, not just on price. Seven pages are involved against a paid list of three, because four of them were secured at no cost. Those four have produced 86% of the views measured so far. That is the part of this campaign that is genuinely ahead.

The playlisting lane needs more placement, not more patience. At 10,101 streams it sits at 22.4% of the 45,000 goal, and the lists placed to date only account for 30,000 of it. One list is doing almost three quarters of the work. The two oldest placements have had seven weeks and produced 1,807 streams between them, so the gap closes by adding lists, not by waiting on the ones already live.

The single clearest finding is about page selection. Views per follower across the four reels runs from 178 per 1,000 down to 8.8 per 1,000, a twenty fold spread, and the top of that range is the smallest page on the list. For a riddim and tearout record, audience fit is outperforming audience size by a wide margin, and that should drive who gets paid on the next release.

What happens from here

Four of these are ours to close out. None of them need anything from you.

1

Hand over the clipping tracker

The $2,000 lane is the one number missing from this report. We are chasing the tracker and the post level stats, and this page updates the day they arrive.

2

Book the remaining Spotify placement

30,000 of the 45,000 stream goal is committed across the lists live today. The remaining 15,000 needs further Tier 1 placement, weighted toward lists that behave like Dubstep Bangers 2026 rather than the two crossover lists added in June.

3

Land the last two seeding posts

EDM Music is scheduled in queue and Festi Freak is secured and awaiting its post. Both will be added here with full stats once live.

4

Rebuild the page list around fit for the next release

The per follower data from this EP gives a real basis for the next brief. Dubstep FBI earned a paid slot on performance. The largest pages on the list have not yet justified theirs.
